Christine was a key reason why the birth of my second child went so smoothly. She helped make me aware when hospital staff were preparing to do things that went counter to my birth plan, allowing me to decline unwanted interventions. She expertly observed how my body moved during contractions to advise me on position changes. I believe her instructions are a large part of why my labor kept progressing steadily and set me up for a quick delivery with no medical interventions and no complications. I am so grateful that she was able to fit me into her schedule despite the fact that I contacted her unusually late in the pregnancy.
